Let’s use this International Women’s Day to return home to the Ground of Being – and not just for today!

I invite you to take 5 minutes to listen to this powerful poetic prose piece called Ground from poet David Whyte.

This poem encourages us to ‘be with’ everything that is currently arising in our lives. This is the place from which a bold future can emerge.

May you come home to yourself… to the ground that is uniquely yours… to the place from which you can step forward with authentic wisdom, love and power and shape a ‘mind-blowing’ new reality.

Lovely post, Suzanne, and such an important reminder. I love that you honor International Women’s Day by honoring Gaia, metaphorically and actually. No castles in the sky, but real structures on the earth and of the earth.

Thanks Nota for your comment. And yes indeed let’s get those foundations underneath the amazing dreams we all have and co-create an awesome new world.

Thank you for reciting this amazing poem Suzanne.

I like the way he speaks of stepping into difficult times with courage. A place to stand and step. The ground that has always been there always. We must ground ourselves to heal, grow, and not stay stuck in a floating existence.

Thanks Max for taking the time to respond to my sharing of David’s beautiful writing about Ground. Yes the ground that has always been there…and that is so essential to live a truly emodied life…awake and fully present.
